I am the Director of Children First of Baltimore where ¨We Put Children First¨. Founder and CEO of Harambee New Day, LLC. An Early Childhood Education Program, licensed by Maryland State Department of Education(M.S.D.E.), located inside of Franklin Square Elementary/Middle School-Specializing in School-Age children 4 thru 12 years of age.

● Former President of the Baltimore City Childcare Association

● Early Childhood Education Consultant -(specializing in collaboration programs-community based).

Goals:

One of my goals is to establish community based training, and resource referral programs in underserved communities. To be the voice & advocate for the health & safety needs of underserved neighborhoods. A facility that houses Early Childhood Care and Cultural parenting classes. We would also provide all day child care for working, volunteering, and parents in training between the hours of 6:30a.m.-6:30p.m. Grandparent and senior support and A Father Figure component to address the health disparities that plague their communities.

● Hosting Early Childhood Conferences 

● Conduct/Facilitate Restorative Practices Circles in Baltimore City Public Schoolś with parents, students, family members, teachers, school staff, administrators, and community leaders. ( w/ Teacher Democracy Project thru Baltimore City)

●  Serve on Public Policy through Maryland Family Network (M.F.N.)

● Member of Early Childhood Advocacy Council (E.C.A.C.)

● Treasurer for the Mount Clare Tenant Association
